El cuarto punto es impreciso, yo lo llamarìa el combustible que mantiene el vehìculo en movimiento pero la simplificaciòn que presentan del concepto web 2.0 es muy ingenioso. Felicitaciones.

Nacho, even when connectivity "should" be "open", the TELCOS and carriers are fighting to destroy network neutrality... and if that happens forget about "open" :S

Ya, but even connectivity should be open and I think that is the direction it is turning on. Currently the very low, or even plain, rates, in constantly reduction, of web2.0 projects related services, shows how that could be possible.

Vinu, many thanks for reading me in Babelfish :)
I agree that everything will become OPEN in some degree, be it FON, Wikipedia, Blogs or Open Business.. and I agree that some communities are "closed" due to registration processes.

But you need a model to keep the flow of "open" be possible, in the case of FON the Aliens or the value added services you can "mount" on it (i.e. VOIP) or donations (i.e. Wikipedia) or "freemium" services like wordpress.com

And thats the good thing of the 4Cs, you can be open even in a business model.. the only thing i still dont see as a commodity is the connectivity, maybe because the TELCOS will fight this ;)

Thanks for quoting me :-) and was able to read your thoughts on due to babelfish (translated it from spanish to english!)

Your last comment on whether something can really be free - I think they will eventually become so within a decade. Everything will become 'OPEN'

1. Content - open content something like wikipedia and we bloggers are already doing
2. Connectivity - open here also e.g FON. It will something like TV or radio - basically a commodity
3. Community - open community => you might not think of community being open / closed. But if you look at it - there are lots of sites where you have to keep on registering! or communities like myspace / flickr / orkut that are closed doors So, the virtual community will be on the lines the real world.
